A Brand With
Something To Say

Towonda Kilpatrick born in rural Marvell, Arkansas, grew up with several disadvantages; dyslexia, personal child abuse at the hands of relatives, and abandonment by her parents were just a few of the many challenges she faced in her younger years.
Her dogged determination to reach a level of success in the entertainment industry has helped her to cope with a painful past. Among her many talents she’s established herself as a savvy and edgy writer; creator, producer and director of stage productions, television shows and most recently as a screenwriter. Her musical, Cheezecake Boiz & The Diva, had its 2011 showcase premiere in Atlanta at the 14th Street Playhouse, her other plays include Mama I’m Your Child (2006) and Can A Hoochie Become First Lady (2005).
Her current projects include a new stage production entitled Damaged Goods, a family play about the taboo subject of sexual abuse. “My goal is to always create theatrical masterpieces with controversial subject matter that will resound in the hearts of the audience.” She has also written a novel, several television scripts and a screenplay for a major motion picture.
